International Student Life

Buenos Aires can be a lot to take in. The city is very well known for its fast-paced rhythm, its ethnic diversity and its eclectic architecture or urban design. It is not easy to wrap ones mind around the people and the local identity, the numerous traditions, Argentinas complex history, the greatly contrasting urban scenery, the vast cultural and artistic offeringK Living in BA is an interesting and intense experience, as well as challenge. Most of its population is Caucasian. The profuse migrations in the late 19th and early 20th century left a noticeable European imprint. The local identity is a clear blend of different ethnic and cultural descents, which fused rather rapidly. The city is pretty heterogeneous though. There are many people from other Latin American countries and one of the largest Jewish communities in the World is in BA. There is an Arab community, an Armenian district, and the city has its own small China Town too.
